There is a moment, between the first light of dawn and the awakening of the senses, when the world seems suspended. It is a subtle boundary where the solidity of stone meets the evanescence of air. Within this space of pure suggestion, Etherea is born — the new collection by Affreschi & Affreschi.
We asked matter to become light. We transformed our handcrafted plaster, a living body of lime and marble powder, into a palimpsest of visions where contemporary design dialogues with the ancestral soul of the wall.
Etherea is an exploration of the limit.
It is found in perspective architectures that challenge the eye, creating depth where once there was a boundary.
It is found in layers of memory, where fragile papers and eroded fresco fragments resurface like precious memories.
It is a journey to the East, among the mists of Mount Fuji and the silent grace of a silk kimono.
It is in the primordial breath of the tropics, where the nature of Bali imprints itself into the material texture, transforming the wall into a mineral garden that lives and breathes.
With Etherea, decoration does not occupy space — it frees it.
